Letter From The President

Dear Resident, Business and Community Member,

As President of the Grand Prairie police Association and on behalf of our entire membership, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support of our cause. Our mission is to actively serve and protect the public, our children, businesses, homes, property, and build a better Grand Prairie through community partnerships.

In this fast-paced, technologically advanced age, we are striving to create an atmosphere of communication and understanding. This will help to render a more robust relationship in our entire community. One way we are reaching this goal, is by creating this new, interactive website. In the coming months, we will be adding other advancements. We engage in community outreach programs which support all those who align with our philosophies. We can make a positive difference in the lives of people who need us most.

The Grand Prairie Police Association consists of 238 sworn officers, whom have taken an oath to maintain law and order for our citizens, and represent the finest element of our community. You can be assured that each and every day, we are working diligently to build a safe and prosperous environment for everyone; especially our children. We are proud of the various community, regional, state and national charities who benefit from our support and involvement. Texas Special Olympics, Sgt. Gregory L. Hunter Memorial Foundation, Santa Cop and The Police Unity Tour to name just a few. These excellent causes all fall within our vision of a better world with which to live. Feel free to click here to help us support our benevolent mission, and align yourself with us in this charitable effort. Click here for more information about our charitable work.

Please take the time to review this site, and make any comments which you feel may help to improve its content. Again, we thank you for your interest and continued support of the Grand Prairie Police Association. We hope you and your family stay safe for the coming years.

Best Regards,
